Politics, Voting and the Economy
What is the word for when your mind has become completely saturated with these three subjects? Well, you can make up words when English verbiage is lacking:
Politopsephokoria (Greek)
Publicisatietas (Latin)
Samfundsmæthed (Danish)
Polisatiety (a newly made-up English word)
There is an easy fix for polisatiety: cut the electricity to any and all digital devices. It is cold turkey for sure, but very effective.
Then consider what comes next, whether sitting in a room, reclining on an outdoor deck chair, or walking on a cement sidewalk. Even if ever so briefly, it feels as though you are breathing again. With every breath, you realize you are living here on this big, beautiful earth!
