Granata
Found that the Burnaby Public Library has a subscription to a favourite periodical - Granata. It comes out quarterly. Would have loved to subscribe to it but the delivery costs are as much as the yearly subscription fee.
#167 Spring 2024 is titled Extraction. Quite the variety of both nonfiction and fiction. It also includes an interview. There is no advertising and it comes in at around 271 pages. The first fiction story is called Prairie Dogs by Benjamin Kunkel. In the story, it mentions a musical group called the Boards of Canada. Looked that up on Apple Music and sure enough there was a group called The Boards of Canada. Interesting music.
This periodical is like a multiple of rabbit holes. It takes you to numerous hidden paths.
